FSD (Full Self-Driving) is Tesla's feature that lets the car steer, brake and change lanes by itself, with the driver watching. We track which Asia-Pacific countries allow it.

What is FSD?

Cameras around the car read the road, so it can drive from A to B: junctions, turns, lane changes and parking.

In Asia-Pacific it is sold as "FSD (Supervised)": hands ready, eyes on the road, and you stay responsible. It is not a car you can nap in.

Each country's transport regulator has to approve it first, so it switches on one country at a time. When yours gets the green light, it shows up here.

Paid RM32,000 for FSD in Malaysia?

You bought a one-time FSD option that Tesla stopped selling after 30 June 2026. It still does not work on Malaysian roads, and Tesla gives no date. If approval comes, purchased FSD should unlock over the air, but Tesla Malaysia has not published terms for that. Keep your invoice. Elsewhere, Tesla moved to monthly subscriptions (Australia, Korea), so new buyers will likely subscribe instead.
